Judith Ann Nelson's Obituary
Judy was born in Weymouth Massachusetts, and grew up in Lynnfield and Concord Mass. She graduated from Nashoba Regional HS, Bolton MA. She is survived by her husband Dexter D Nelson of Trinity FL; daughter Stephanie McWee; Son in Law David McWee; and granddaughters Catherine, Samantha, and Abigayle McWee of Trinity FL. She is also survived by her son James Nelson of Lancaster SC and grandsons Ryan, Colin, and Justin. She was preceded in death by her mother Louise C. Levy, and Father George H. Levy. She was an Air Force Wife of 21 years with various assignments. They resided in Newport News VA and Yorktown VA for 30 years prior to moving to Trinity FL in 2016.
She enjoyed various employments with Honeywell Systems, Farmer Electric, Army Air Force Exchange Service, as a Tupperware Manager, and as a medical office receptionist/manager for Children’s Hospital of the Kings Daughters.
Besides being a full-time mom, she was active as a Cub Scout den leader, and later as a Girl Scout troop leader for Junior and Senior Girl scouts. She later served as a “roadie band parent” and uniform Mom to a large High School Marching Band during travel performances. She enjoyed quilting and travel, especially Cruising, and had many good times in The Caribbean, Alaska, New England, and European River Cruises
