My name is Ivonne Jimenez. The best memory I have of my childhood friend Johnny was his beautiful smile. A smile that would light up room. He was always fixing things..
So smart. If it was broken Johnny would fix it. He taught himself to play the guitar. We used to love playing hide and go seek, specially if the lights went out in the beautiful campo we grew up in. Tira y tapate ( dodgeball) was another favorite. Although I left that campo many years ago, I always longed to see my childhood friends the Raimundi's. I recently had that chance and was fortunate enough to be awarded that beautiful smile by my dear friend Johnny, How lucky was I to have seen him again, making him laugh and reminiscing about those unforgettable times! I was blessed that day to have been one of the last people who saw that smile...that is my memory of him! Until we meet again,my friend God Bless!
