Joyce Wilson's Obituary
Joyce Wilson, a compassionate soul with a fierce spirit, passed away on May 1st, 2024, at the age of 87. Born on January 7th, 1937, in Montego Bay, Jamaica, Joyce was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, registered nurse, voracious reader, and child of God.
Joyce was one of seven children born to Ellen and Caswell Stewart, and she was fiercely protective of her loved ones. She is survived by her siblings, Sivel, Tuny, and Ouida, while remembering her other siblings who have passed before her.
Joyce dedicated 37 years of her life to her marriage with Windell Wilson, who preceded her in death in 2003. As a registered nurse, Joyce touched countless lives with her healing touch and unwavering care.
Joyce is survived by her son Jamal Wilson and her cherished grandchildren, Cannon and Greyson Wilson, who will continue to carry her legacy of kindness and compassion forward.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Joyce will be remembered for her warm smile, her generous heart, and the love she shared with all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
