Joseph A Bologna's Obituary
Joseph Anthony Bologna, 76, of Land O’ Lakes, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on February 2, 2026.
Joseph was born on December 31, 1949, in Detroit, Michigan, to Josephine and Samuel Bologna. He graduated from De La Salle Collegiate in 1968 and went on to attend Michigan State University, where he studied Hospitality Business.
On November 15, 1974, Joseph married the love of his life, Catana (née Guevara). Together they shared 51 wonderful years of marriage, building a life centered on faith, family, and love.
Joseph dedicated his professional life to serving others, working as a food and beverage manager before later becoming an insurance agent. In retirement, he found great joy in traveling, volunteering in his community, and spending meaningful time with his beloved family. His proudest accomplishments were his children and their many achievements.
He is survived by his loving wife, three children, and two cherished grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Dominic.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Timothy Catholic Church on Friday, February 13, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul at St. Timothy Parish.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to friends and loved ones for their continued support during this difficult time.
