Jon McBride's Obituary
Jon Dale McBride, 72, of Trinity, Florida, passed away on February 3, 2026. He was born on November 18, 1953, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, to Doyle and Shirley McBride, the eldest of three brothers. He graduated from Satanta High School in 1972. After graduation, Jon began a career in the oil and gas industry as a mud engineer, where he orchestrated the merger between Mustang Mud and DuBar Drilling Fluids. He retired to Florida after over forty years in the field.
Jon was an avid reader. He was a sun worshipper and loved nothing more than being outside, enjoying the beach and the ocean. A truly kind soul, he was extremely generous towards friends and family and was always the first person to reach for the check when sharing a meal.
Jon is survived by his brothers James (Connye) McBride and Thomas (Susan) McBride and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Doyle and Shirley McBride.
