John J. Nonnenmacher's Obituary
John ”Jay” Nonnenmacher, a retired Truck Driver for the New York Daily News passed away on May 14th 2023 at the age of 86.
Jay is survived by his loving wife Jennifer, his children, John, Lynne, Krista, Erin, and Jason. His step children, Bill Sutschek and Ariane Cortes, Tim and Jess Sutschek, and David Sutschek and Shannon Marshall, his grandchildren Taylor, Cameron, Jack, Matthew, JP, Tommy, Alex, TJ, Elliana, Emmalie, and Audrey, His great grandchildren Landen and Fallon.
Jay was born in Brooklyn, NY February 13, 1937. He was an all-around handy man. He loved to take things apart. If you needed a tool or the knowledge Jay always had it. He was the kind of guy who would give you the shirt off his back. Once he retired, he found his love of cruising and truly enjoyed telling war stories with fellow travelers. He always loved trying to beat his wife playing cards and spending time playing solitaire on his computer. Another favorite pass time was puzzles, there was always a work in progress somewhere.
Services are Friday May 19th, 2023 at Trinity Memorial Gardens at 11am.
