John Hesselbirg's Obituary
John Charles Hesselbirg Senior, of Trinity, Florida, passed peacefully on Sunday, June 4th, 2017 at his home with family and friends. Born in Newark, New Jersey, youngest of four children, to Otto Valentine and Catherine Hesselbirg, he lived his life in Nutley, New Jersey and Trinity, Florida.
John was predeceased by his loving wife of 60 years, Doris, in 2010. John is survived by his 6 children Diane (Ethan) Rath, Joan (Keith) Flicker, Debra (Keith) Banks, Joyce (Frank) Caswell, John Junior (Deanne) Hesselbirg and Judy (John) Voytek, 23 grand¬children, 4 (soon to be 5) great-grandchildren, 8 nieces and nephews, 10 great-nieces and great-nephews, along with the families of 6 predeceased in-laws also Eugene
Connolly, Raymond and Jeanne Connolly and Joan Connolly families.
John was enormously proud of his extensive family. He worked numerous jobs from crossing guard to auxiliary fireman before retiring from Hoffman-La Roche. In retire¬ment, he enjoyed watching football, golfing, his bike golf cart, going to the hot tub and pool seeing his friends and spending time with loved ones.
The family will receive friends for a viewing on Thursday, June 8, 2017 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the Trinity Gardens, 12609 Memorial Drive, Trinity, Florida 34655 — tel: 727¬376-7824.
