John L. Boyer, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2025, at the age of 90. He was born on August 30, 1935, in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, to J. Lee Boyer and Verna Wagner. John lived a life full of love and dedication, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished by his family and all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
John was a proud graduate of Lewisburg Area High School, where he laid the foundation for a life marked by hard work, integrity, and compassion. On April 21, 1955, he married the love of his life, Lois Adams. This union was the cornerstone of his happiness, as together they created a nurturing home filled with laughter, love, and unwavering support.
John is preceded in death by his parents, J. Lee Boyer and Verna Wagner, and his sister, Gloria. He leaves behind a devoted spouse, Lois Boyer, and a legacy of love through his children: Andy, Barb, Steve, Mike, and Joan and wife. John was also a proud grandfather of 17 grandchildren and a great-grandfather to 18 great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life.
Though John may have left this world, his spirit and kindness will forever be etched in the hearts of those he touched. He was not only a pillar of strength for his family but also a source of inspiration and wisdom. His love for his family was evident in every smile, every gathering, and every moment spent with them.
