John J Beckman's Obituary
John Joseph Beckman, 75, of San Antonio, FL passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018 peacefully in his sleep.
The family welcomes visitation on Sunday, August 19, 2018 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 12609 Memorial Drive, Trinity, FL 34655. The funeral service will be held on Monday, August 20th at 10:00am at the same location.
John "Jack" was born in St. Louis, MO. He served in the Army for 6 years including time spent in Korea. He retired from the Federal Reserve Bank in St. Louis, Mo. He lived most of his life in Missouri and then retired to Florida in 1988.
Jack was married to Judith "Judi" C. Beckman (Whalen) for almost 46 years. Throughout their life, besides raising a family they enjoyed many activities, such as camping, boating, traveling our beautiful country and drag racing.
Jack is survived by his beloved wife Judi Beckman, his children: daughter Melissa L. Poirier (Beckman) of Tampa, FL, son Joseph E. Beckman of Wesley Chapel, FL and daughter Melanie S. Beckman of Ogden, UT. He was blessed to have four grandchildren: Taylor C. Wright (Khare), Reagan D. Khare, Logan J. Methvin and Lucy J. Methvin and one great granddaughter, Brooklynn C. Wright. Jack was also survived by his sister Susan Smith of _Inverness__FL, his niece Christine Smith of Dixon, MO
Jack was preceded in death by his father John J. Beckman, his mother Lucy Ross and nephew Robert Smith.
Jack was loved by his family immensely and will be greatly missed. We are thankful to know he is in peace now
