We will remember Joan for her love and open arms always. After being in St. Ingnatius' parish in Hicksville for 40 years, Joan with Tom, made it so easy to start in our new parish St. Mark's in Shoreham 12 years ago. We were in their faith-sharing group each week and we drew closer to God. because Joan never stopped loving us, a very special feeling. Now she is "Home" with the Lord and we are sure she is trying to start an A.C.T.S. group. We will pray TO her because we know she is "Home". We love her.
We will keep Tom and the family in our daily prayers.

Joan was a painting friend of mine. I will fondly remember Joan as she always lit up the room when she arrived. I always looked forward to my trip to Florida to get my fill of laughter. I was always treated so well by her and Tom , taking me to Tarpon Springs
is a fond memory. I will miss her dearly and I send prayers to the whole family for healing.

Joan and I went to Mercy Juniorate high school together.. She was affectionately known by us as 'TJ' or Tall Joan. That nickname stuck with her for all these years. She was loved by all of us, and will be missed. My prayers are with her family. Kathy Goffery
