Joan Estella Collucci's Obituary
Joan Estella Collucci, 79, of Leesburg FL passed away Wednesday November 17th, 2021. Joan was born in Derby CT, grew up in Danbury CT, raised a family in Newtown CT until moving to Florida 28 years ago.
Joan was a dedicated wife, homemaker and Mother of 6 Children (1 son passed away at birth). When her children were all in school Joanie began her career as a waitress, continued her education to become a bookkeeper and later her compassion for others led her into becoming a trusted and loving companion to many in their time of need. Joanie was adored by all of the lives and families she touched during her career.
Joanie is predeceased by a son John Kotch at birth, her beloved in laws who she always referred to as her Mother and Father, John and Adelaide Kotch, her parents George and Flora Robson, and sister Ruth Davis.
Joanie is survived by her daughters Teresa Trithart, Christine Gallulo, Kelli Kotch, Joann Marino and son John Kotch III. She was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Joan was usually found outside following her passion for gardening and working in the yard, and was extremely gifted in drawing and crafting. Joan was always on the go from sunup to sundown where those who knew her said she could run circles around 10 teenagers. Her fun-loving spirit, play-full personality and gift of gab touched not only her family but also anyone she came in contact with outside her home.
Mom, you are dearly missed, immensely loved and forever in my heart! I love you a bushel and a peck!!
