So sad to hear of Jennie’s passing but in a way a blessing that she is now together forever with her beloved husband, Les.

One of the happy memories I have, is of when Mom and Dad drove up to see us in Calgary, Alberta about 15 years ago. One evening, we all went to bed. In the middle of the night, I heard some scratching and a clunk. I got up to investigate. It was our pet hamster. An escape artist. He had worked his way out of his cage. I found him climbing down the carpeted stair case. Mom got up to see what all the noise was about. My girls told her the pet hamster was on the loose. She let out a scream and jumped on top of the bed, using it like a trampoline. She said she was scared of anything that looked like a mouse. When I caught him, I showed her how tame he was. It didn't matter. She just jumped farther back on the bed and then fell down on it. I put the creature back in his cage and we all had a good laugh about it!! Sweet Memories. I Love You Mom.
