Jean K Malatesta's Obituary
Malatesta, Jean K, 95, passed away in hospice care on April 18, 2016 after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Frank J. Malatesta. Originally from Coatesville, PA, Jean contributed many hours as a hospital volunteer and held a leadership role in the Sisterhood of the Holy Ghost Ukrainian Church, both located in Coatesville, PA. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, sewing and needlepoint and crafts. She was an excellent cook and took great delight preparing authentic Italian and Ukrainian dishes to share with family and friends. She spent her last 12 years in Florida with her family and was an active member of St. Anne Byzantine Catholic Church. Jean was a loving mother of three daughters, Kathleen Cloud (wife of the late Robert Cloud) of Trinity, Nancy Gregory (wife of Len Gregory) and Joan Greising both of Land O’ Lakes. She treasured her five grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will take place on Friday, April 22, 2016 at 10:00 am at St. Anne Byzantine Catholic Church, 7120 Massachusetts Ave, New Port Richey, FL 34653 with interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 12609 Memorial Drive, Trinity, FL 34655. Donations may be made in Jean’s name to HPH Marliere Hospice Care Center, 6801 Rowan Road, New Port Richey, FL 34653
