Jean A Keehner's Obituary
KEEHNER, JEAN AMES
92, passed into the loving arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, July 28th, 2018. Jean was born in Cape Charles, VA, the 7th of 10 children born to William Edward Ames Sr. and Sudie Rippon Ames. She retired from the Baltimore County, Maryland public library system working at the Lansdowne, Arbutus, and Pikesville branches. Afterward she worked many years at The Hermitage, Onancock, VA and the Heartlands Senior Living Village in Ellicott City, MD.
She is survived by daughters: Nancy Gillen and Janet Badger, grandchildren: Patrick Gillen III, Heather Bishop (Scott), Sarah Badger, Hannah Badger, and great-grandson: Brendan Bishop. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Frederick Keehner Sr. and her daughter, Gail Reed.
Jean showed abundant unconditional love toward her family as well as optimism and perseverance in daily living. She enjoyed traveling, cooking and eating good meals, and her dog, Casper. She is very much loved and will be greatly missed; but, her family looks forward to a future reunion with her in the Kingdom of God.
