Jean Rose Marie Banks' Obituary
Banks, Jean Rose Marie, 70, of Wesley Chapel, passed away on January 10, 2022. Jean was born on March 11, 1951 in St. Ann, Jamaica.
Jean lived in Kingston, Jamaica, attending Mt. Hermon Elementary and St. Joseph High school. Over the years Jean lived in many different places including Mt. Charles, Jamaica, Bronx, New York, and most recently Wesley Chapel, Florida. She worked at Soft Sheen Carson in Jamaica and as a Nanny in New York City for almost 20 years.
Jean is remembered for her fire cracker personality. In life nothing was more important to Jean than her family. She also loved her friends immensely. Jean loved mangoes, jackfruit, dancing, gardening, casinos, cooking for her family, and always cleaning. She also enjoyed frequently talking to her family and friends on the phone.
Jean is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Clive Banks; children, Lloyd, Bevan, Shirelle and Rohan; grandchildren, Arnelle, Nicholas, JD, Rain, Darian and Keona/Joey ; sibling, Morris; son-in-law, Reggie; daughters-in-law, Carlene and Nicky; and a huge circle of friends that loved her immensely. She will be missed dearly.
A visitation is to be held for Jean at Trinity Memorial Gardens on Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A funeral service will take place at Trinity Memorial gardens on Friday, January 21, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Jean will then be interred in Trinity Memorial Gardens following services. The family also extends an invitation at 1:00 PM for a reception in Magnolia Hall at Trinity Memorial Gardens.
