Jason Lee Roberts-Cochran's Obituary
In Loving Memory
Jason Lee Roberts-Cochran, 43, of Wesley Chapel, FL, formerly of Sherman, TX, passed away September 3, 2021, after enduring a heart attack. He had a zeal for life like no other both professionally and personally and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Born June 5, 1978 in Princeton, WV, he was the son of Janice Roberts and the late Roger Roberts and preceded in death by his elder brother, Scott Roberts. Jason spent time in both North Carolina and Texas and held well respected mortgage operations positions in both states. In fact, Jason was the youngest Senior Vice President in Bank of America’s history at the time. In Jason’s most recent position, he served as the Senior Vice President of Operations and Credit Risk with Homevantage Mortgage, led and mentored by its president, Pam Jenkins.
Most recently from Sherman, TX, Jason and Jeff followed their dreams, purchased their new home and moved from Texas to Florida on June 14, 2021.
Among close friends and colleagues, for which there are too many to list, those left to cherish his memory are his husband, Jeffrey Wayne Cochran-Roberts; step sons, Landon Cochran and Preston Cochran; his mother, Janice Roberts; niece, Makayla Roberts; nephew Matthew Roberts. Those that knew Jason’s larger than life heart and presence will attest that he will never be forgotten.
