Jane Marie Klempin's Obituary
Jane Marie Klempin, age 81, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 16, 2021. She was born to the late Jonas “Red” Jamerson and Eleanor Moore on August 13, 1939 in Richmond, Virginia. She was known to family and friends as Marie and to her grandchildren and great grandchildren as “Nanaw.”
Marie is survived by her two sisters Joan Wilton and Ann Carol Wilton; her brother James “Bubba” Moore Jr.; her three sons and two daughters-in-law Mark and Janet Beddow, Christopher Klempin, and Jason and Barbara Klempin; her three daughters and two sons-in-law Darlene and Roy Grear, Dana Pruitt, and Vonda and Gary Wooldridge; her nine grandchildren Rodney, Kathleen, Jessica, Amanda, Dustin, Gary, Nicole, Brittany, and Ross; and nine great grandchildren. Marie was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Ron Klempin and her younger sister MaryAnn Brown.
Marie was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved to laugh and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was fond of the ocean, and in her younger days, of traveling. She was known to appreciate an interesting episode of Dr. Phil or a good Stephen King novel with the ever-present cup of black coffee. She was proud of her family and always did her best to show them how much she loved them. She was deeply loved and she will be greatly missed.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Trinity Memorial Gardens. The burial will follow at 3:00 p.m.
