James G. Quigley's Obituary
James Gerard Quigley (Jim) 83, was born on October 21, 1939, and entered the house of the Lord on November 29, 2022. Son of the late James and Genevieve Quigley. He is survived by his wife Carol Quigley and three daughters Christine Brewer (Wess), Cathy Quigley and Jacqueline Van Deilen (Jamie)and predeceased by his son Jimmy Quigley. 7 Grandchildren, Jessica Brewer, Anna Brewer, Nicholas Van Deilen, Matthew Van Deilen, Zachary Van Deilen, Sadie Quigley and Skylar Quigley.
In 1966 Jim and Carol started dated and later married on December 2, 1967. This year would have been their 55th wedding Anniversary. Jim was a strong man of faith, he instilled the love of Lord in his household and children at a very young age. Jim graduated from St. Agnes High School and received a Bachelors degree from Hofstra University and completed his masters degree from New York University. He served in the Army for 2 years and then joined the New York City Police Department and retired as a Sergeant in 1987 after 20 years and moved to Florida. During his retirement they traveled to the Caribbean, South America, Central America, Canada, Egypt and many European countries. He enjoyed 61 cruises throughout his lifetime. He was a fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Lightning, the Rays and the Florida State Seminoles.
He will be missed by his family and friends. We love you.
