PRUDOT, James L.
passed away
peacefully
and surrounded
by love in
his daughter’s
home Jan. 6,
2016. He was born Aug. 3,
1944 in St. Louis, MO. He
moved to the Tampa Bay Area
as a teenager, where he later
met and married his high
school sweetheart. He proudly
served in the United States
Marine Corps prior to entering
a career in communications.
He retired from Verizon
in 2006 following 27 years of
dedicated service. James was
a devoted husband and father
and a proud grandfather who
always put his family first and
spent his life serving others.
He is survived by his wife
of 48 years, Maureen; son,
Dennis; daughters, Laura
Gonzalez (Manny) and Elizabeth
Aplin (Benny); grandchildren,
Eric, Aaron, Nigel,
Destiny, Tyler, Austin, and
Julia; great-grandchildren,
Isabella and Emma; sisters,
Jeanette and Judith; sistersin-
law, Ellen (Mike) and Mary
(Alan); brothers-in-law, Terry,
Steve, Sean, and Joe (Rhonda);
many beloved nieces
and nephews; and many dose
family friends. Funeral service
will be held Jan. 16 at
Trinity Memorial Gardens (www.trinitymemorial.
com) with visitation
beginning at 12 pm followed
by a service at 1 pm. ln lieu
of flowers, contributions may
be made in James’s name to
the Alzheimer’s Association
or to his beloved charity, Villa
