Someone can please correct me if this is wrong, but I think this is the same Jim Marzano who anchored Sports Central on WBBW 1240 AM in Youngstown, Ohio in the 1970's and probably into the 1980's. I have fond memories of listening to his show (and occasionally calling in myself, LOL) during my growing-up years in Youngstown, and hearing him talk a lot about NBA basketball and other topics. He also announced numerous local high school basketball games in Youngstown as well.
Jim is definitely well remembered! Prayers for his family as they deal with this loss.
Sincerely,
Raf Ahmed (now living in the Huntsville, AL area but originally from Youngstown, OH)
Merry Christmas Jim…prayers always. June and Matthew, prayers always for Jim, June and Matthew. God Bless today and always. Aunt patty and uncle Larry. God Bless..🎄🙏❤️
I just learned that Jim is with God. I am extremely sorry to learn that he is no longer with us here on earth but his spirit is with me. Jim was one of the kindness people I have ever known. He was an outstanding employee. I wish I could have attended his service but I was unaware. I am truly and sincerely sorry for your loss, he was a wonderful person.
To June and Matt, mere words can not express my deepest sympathy. You are in my heart, my thoughts and my prayers daily. To Jim, Mom and Dad,
"Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon them.
May the souls of all the faithful departed,
through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen"
Until we meet again, I love you and miss you.
Love you June and Matt and miss our precious Jim. Until we meet again, Jim!

Jim was such a sweet soul, we all loved him.
He loved June and Matt so much. He used to call me to tell me jokes about them and send texts with the latest Italian songs he found on u tube that he played over and over until they were tired of hearing them. I will miss those calls Jim, telling me how the two West Indians were doing.
Daniel says the Buccaneers are winning for Uncle Jim.
