James William Black's Obituary
James W "Jim" Black, died early on April 25th, 2018. At his home in Odessa, Florida following a 3 month decline in his health.
He was born in Madison, Wisconsin. His career centered in the marine industry and began with Mercury, went on to Glastron where he raced boats as well. Then on to Volvo-Penta and Sea Ray. Then he moved to his own design and presentations with strom products and on from there to his designs and production in Tampa at Jim Black & Associates where he served as chief exec officer until it was sold in march 2008 to HiTide Marine Group
Mr Black was preceded in death by his parents. William "Bill" Black and Helen R Black. His late wife Pauline W Black. His stepson Martin Strom, he is survived by his Wife Patricia W Serrill-Black, step-sons Marc Schaffer, atlanta, Eric Schaffer, Spokane, washington, and Daughter. Chris B Puckett, Galesburg, Illinois
