Jacqueline Reeves' Obituary
Jacqueline Patsy Reeves went to be with the Lord on March 4, 2022 while in hospice care in Dunedin Florida at the age of 91. Her husband of 69 years and high school sweetheart Joe Reeves predeceased her. She is survived by a sister, Alycia Philips of Peachtree City Georgia, and two sons: Clinton Reeves of Clearwater, FL and Kevin Reeves of Conyers, Georgia. Mrs. Reeves is also survived by four grandsons and a great-grandson: Clinton Jr, Andrew, Randall, Jackson and Jazz Reeves.
She was born November 5, 1930 in Etowah Tennessee and relocated to East Point, Georgia at a very young age. She would return to Etowah many summers while growing up to spend time on her grandparent’s farm. She graduated from Russell High School in East Point Georgia and later attended classes at the Atlanta School of Art. She worked as a bookkeeper for the Atlanta and West Point Railroad as well as an administrative assistant for many of her husband’s various businesses. In addition to her family, she loved art, including painting, sculpting and sketching. She loved architecture, home decorating, family and animals of every kind. She was a gifted gardener and her enjoyment of nature and zest for life will be missed.
