Jacqueline S McEwan's Obituary
Jacqueline (Jackie) was born on Valentine’s Day 1946 in Lambeth, London, England. She passed away at 9.30 am on Sunday November 17th, 2024, at Gulfside Heather Hill Hospice, New Port Richey, Florida aged 78. Jackie was a beautiful person both inside and out whose sense of humor and radiant smile could literally light up a room. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother survived by her loving husband, Ken who was blessed with 57 years of marriage, her two children, Natalie and spouse, Alex, Paul and spouse, Sandra, as well as three grandchildren: Ava, Hayden and Lukas. Jackie was a woman of the world and through thirteen moves lived on three continents starting in Europe at the Midland Bank in London, where at the age of 16 she met her future husband, Ken. She moved to Hong Kong in the late 1970’s and volunteered at one of the many refugee camps for the Vietnamese boat people, then after moving to the US in the early 1980’s she worked in the radiology department of the Summit Medical Group in Summit, New Jersey before retiring in 1999 to Florida. After living on both the east and west coasts, she settled in Heritage Springs, Trinity where she led a very full life as an active volunteer near her family and among her many good friends.
