Jack Ervin Wagenbrenner's Obituary
Jack Ervin Wagenbrenner, age 81 passed away at his home on November 28, 2017 in Tampa, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, Florence Wagenbrenner and Ervin (Erna) Wagenbrenner; wife, Victoria Wagenbrenner; siblings, Robert and Ronald Wagenbrenner and Joan McAlister. Survived by children, Kristina (Philip) Bolcar and Kenneth (Martha) Wagenbrenner; stepchildren Bana Repp, Craig (Kim) Perdue, Mandy (Sid) Jessup and Brent (Karla) Perdue; grandchildren, Jason & Arianna Wagenbrenner, Erika Bolcar; step grandchildren, Jason Armstrong, Jeremy & Jacob Repp; Leighton Perdue, Sydney & Joseph Jessup and Paige Perdue; sister-in-law, Meg Wagenbrenner and extended family. Jack is a retired Army veteran of 21 years with a tour in Vietnam, stationed at multiple bases including Germany and is also a retired U.S. Postal Service employee. He was born an athlete playing football, baseball & basketball starting in school through his military career, winning several trophies and considered going pro in baseball. Everyone knew him as an avid sports fan rooting on the hometown Buckeyes and Browns. He attended St. Charles Preparatory School and Ohio State University and was a lifelong member of the VFW. He loved his family very much, especially developing a strong bond with his grandkids. He’ll be remembered for his favorite TV gameshows, love of Bingo and his outings to the casino. Family will receive friends from Noon until 1:00 PM Monday December 4, 2017 with a Celebration of Life to follow at 1:00 PM at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Trinity, Florida.
