Howard F Lemke's Obituary
Howard "Howie" F. Lemke, age 81 passed away on February 4th 2026 at his home in Clearwater, FL at the Avalon RV Resort. He also spent his summers in Edgerton Wisconsin at his home in Rock River Leisure Estates.
Born February 15, 1944 in Milwaukee Wisconsin to Howard E. and Lois A. Lemke.
Howard worked many years in the vending industry where he would meet his wife Carol. He later worked for the Janesville School system which he retired from.
Howard enjoyed his time volunteering for Hospice both in Clearwater, FL and Edgerton, Wl, he enjoyed going to Church on Sundays and was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Palm Harbor, Florida, along with Bethel Baptist Church in Janesville, WI.
Howard found great happiness in the simple pleasures of life, good company, family get-togethers, lots of conversations, country music, all sports and the tradition of the daily Happy Hour, known for his easy going personality and kindness.
Howard is survived by his sister JoAnn (Paul) Ratke, daughters Mary (Bob) Skene, Leslie Ruble, sons Ron (Corrine) Ruble, Rory Ruble, Daughter in law Cathy Ruble, numerous cousins, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends.
Howard is predeceased by his wife Carol Lemke, former wife Sandy Link, sons Robin Ruble, Mike Lemke and his wife Patty Lemke, daughter Michelle Santillo, and great granddaughter Sophia Noel Voegeli.
He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.
