My memories of Howard as a boss (and later a friend) when I worked with him at his and Josephine’s restaurant, Mr. Pastrami, were all so kind. He was an excellent human being, full of positive energy and generous with everyone he encountered. He always went the extra mile; working hard in every situation. Not to mention he was absolutely hilarious, cracking jokes and telling stories of the old times. Each day I looked forward to going to work to spend time with Howard and Josephine. They made a difficult time of my life much easier; always looking after my wellbeing and including my daughter and myself in holiday celebrations and treating us like family. I will remember Howard fondly the rest of my days and count myself as blessed to have known such a great and accomplished man.
