Harry J Periou Jr's Obituary
Harry J. “Nick” Periou, Jr., passed away on January 22, 2026, at Tampa Lakes Health & Rehabilitation. Nick was born on March 15, 1948 (Eyes of March) in Marksville, LA to Harry J. Periou, Sr. and Rita Mayeux-Periou.
Nick had a very long and successful career in Sales. The last several years working in the crane industry for Manitowoc covering the US and Canada. He developed not only customers but in many cases friendships during his business trips. After a long week in Milwaukee, he was on a flight home via Detroit when he was seated next to Wanda, the person that he married and shared almost 17 beautiful years with.
Nick enjoyed the water and was especially fond of diving. He also enjoyed football and was a huge LSU and Green Bay Packer fan. Nick will always be remembered as a kind and loving soul, a leader, a provider, strong in his Catholic faith until the very end.
Nick is survived by his wife Wanda, his children Ryan, Amy, and Christopher, their mother Gina, his son-in-law Kevin, his siblings Connie and Leon. His 3 grandchildren Austin, Lauren, and Leah, two stepdaughters, Kristina and Rachel, and a step-grandson Isaac. Nick was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Rita.
A placement service will be held on Thursday, February 12th at 2:45 with a gathering following from 3pm to 5 pm at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 12609 Memorial Drive, Trinity, FL 34655.
