My Uncle Harry
A jovial spirit, with a wonderful booming voice and a contagious laugh which were only exceeded by his strength of character and belief in eternal salvation and his love of the Lord.
As a young child my Uncle Harry was a marvelous presence whom us nieces and nephews could not wait to arrive. He was fun, a man's man and always, always interesting. He always had time for us kids and did he love it. I can hear his joyous laughter now as we followed him around. So many marvelously good memories. In fact they became legendary among us, once, young ones. And, they still are, 50+ years later, often retold by us. Jumping the cyclone fence in my back yard, peanut butter & bananas, the cave in the woods, juggling and throwing machetes, wrestling all of us at once, and, John 3:16. are just a few of the oft told tales from growing up.
As an older man, we did not see one another for long periods of time, and I was poorer for it, life often has it's own agenda. On those too few occasions I sought him out, having wonderful discussions about so many things that matter; religion, philosophy, politics, the ziet giest of the world today, and good memories from old times. He was easy to speak with and a joy to listen to. His genuine and ready laughter never changed. And, I learned.
From child to man my love and respect did change in character but it never lessened, only matured. He was a jewel and I know I am blessed to have known him, we all are.
A true believer and lover of mankind the world is less without him. I await, as I know you do Uncle Harry to our next meeting.
PRAISE THE LORD!!

Aunt Theresa,
Know that I share in your bitter-sweet sorrow of your Benard's passing. The bitter sorrow of losing the one you loved and supported for these many years and the sweet knowledge that he is one with the Lord and is watching over you and us all. My heart felt condolences are with you Aunt Theresa, as well as Tessy, Harry & Deborah and theirs.
Finally Aunt Theresa, Thank you for finding him for us and thank you for John 3:16, from the age of 5 to 69 it has servered me well.
