I dreamed I was back in high school when I worked as a retail clerk and "Soda Jerk" at Glovers Pharmacy in Lawrence, MA in the 1960s. Hal was the pharmacist and our boss. When he was hired he introduced himself as Harold Nathan Dendy but told us he really was "Hal." He was a nice guy and would occasionally pick me up on Saturdays as he drove to work from Lowell, MA, on route 110 in Methuen.
Fond memories of that era.

I remember the day, not so long ago that we girls were sitting in the jacuzzi after water aerobics talking and Judy looked up and we all saw this man with a cup of coffee in his hand for Judy and Judy said this is my husband Hal ladies. What a wonderful guy to do that with such a smile on his face, we all will never forget it. So sorry for you and your families loss Judy, God Bless you all
Hal was a wonderful person. He always seemed happy and had a smile for everyone. I always enjoyed being in his company, especially with my cousin, Judy. When Hal and Judy first moved to Florida, they stayed with me. Then, to my sunrise, they bought a house across the street. Judy went into real estate, Hal followed, especially with the photo’s and the best real estate team was born. To my regret, they moved on to bigger, better and nicer homes which they both deserved.
I’ll always remember our visit and the marinated steaks Hal put on the BBQ, and I was proud to have introduced him to Jamaican meat patties!
