Grover Cleveland Stanley's Obituary
Grover Cleveland 'Cleve' Stanley, age 77, peacefully passed away on May 12, 2025, at HPH Hospice in New Port Richey, Florida, surrounded by the loving presence of his daughter and son-in-law.
Cleve was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 51 years, Shelby Diane Stanley, his parents Grover Washington Stanley and Gladys Elizabeth Stanley, Grandson, Riley Allen Wyne and his brothers and sisters.
Cleve is survived by his Daughter Christina Wyne (Todd), his Son Daniel Stanley (Marianne), and his cherished grandchildren: Tyler Thompson, Caitlyn Wyne, Olivia Stanley, and Madison Stanley.
Born in Washington, D.C., Cleve had a passion for Chevrolet Chevelle's, deer hunting, and photography. He proudly served in the U.S. Army, where he joined the 101st Airborne Division and served two tours in the Vietnam War, one tour as a Door Gunner on a Chinook Helicopter.
As a proud Vietnam veteran, Cleve was an honored member of the Chester McKay VFW Post in New Port Richey, FL, where his service and sacrifice were deeply respected.
