Gloria Frakes' Obituary
Gloria Marie Frakes, 94, of Melbourne, FL, passed away on May 21, 2024. She was born on July 4, 1929, in Queens, NY. She married Dennis Frakes and raised three children on Long Island. Gloria and Dennis moved to Hudson, FL, in 1990, where they retired. They had a great life there. Following Dennis's passing in 2010, Gloria moved to Melbourne, FL. She loved to play cards and games with the ladies. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Gloria is survived by her three children, Susan, Michael, and Karen; her daughter-in-law and two sons-in-law; her five grandchildren; and her four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Gloria's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the American Lung Association.
