Geraldine Cassidy's Obituary
Geraldine “Geri” Cassidy, 81, passed away on April 23, 2024. She was born May 5, 1942, in Chicago, IL to Mathias and Florence Kramer. She married John Cassidy in 1961 and remained his devoted wife for 41 years prior to his passing in 2002. John and Geri created a family together, beginning with their three sons, John Jr., Mark, and Matt, and followed throughout the years by their nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She had a generous spirit, giving everything she could to causes that were close to her heart. She will be remembered by all who knew her as the most loving, caring, and giving person you could ever meet and for always being there for her family.
Geri is survived by her three sons John Jr. (Lenore), Mark Sr., and Matt (Lynn); her grandchildren Jennifer (Dan), Daniel (Victoria), Nikki, Mark Jr. (Rayne), Nicholas, Tyler, Blake, Michael (Anna), and Jordan (Kyle); and her great-grandchildren Layla, Tommy, Kennedy, Lilah, Addison, Grayson, Lily, and Kaitlyn. She was predeceased by her husband John Sr. and her three sisters Joanne, Sharon, and Elaine.
