Frank E Miceli's Obituary
Frank Miceli, of Wesley Chapel, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2026, at the age of 87, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on April 30, 1939, in Trumbull, Connecticut, Frank was the youngest of seven children born to Emanuel and Jenny Miceli. He spent his childhood growing up on the family farm, where he learned the values of hard work, perseverance, and dedication that would guide him throughout his life. Those early years instilled in him a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for family.
As a young man, Frank proudly served his country in the United States military. His service reflected a lifelong love of country and a profound respect for the freedoms he cherished. He remained proud of his military service and carried a deep sense of patriotism throughout his life.
On April 28, 1962, Frank married the love of his life, Josephine, beginning a partnership that would span more than six decades. Together they shared 64 years of marriage built on love, devotion, and family, just months shy of celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary. They began their life together in Bellerose, New York, where they built a home and raised their family. In 1990, Frank and Josephine relocated to Orlando, Florida, where they enjoyed many happy years together. In 2018, they moved to Wesley Chapel, Florida, to be closer to their daughter Josephine and her family.
Family was the center of Frank’s life. He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and cherished great-grandfather. He found great joy in spending time with his family and took immense pride in watching it grow through the generations. He will be remembered for his strength, kindness, wisdom, loyalty, and unwavering dedication to those he loved
.Frank is survived by his beloved wife, Josephine Miceli; his daughters, Josephine Maggio and Rose Marie Nozilo; his son-in-law, Ben Maggio; his grandchildren, Christopher Maggio and Daniel Nozilo; his granddaughter-in-law, Gabriella Maggio, wife of his late grandson Nicolas Maggio; Christopher’s fiancée, Ali Fermo; and his great-grandchildren, Giovanni Maggio and Nicoletta Maggio.
He was predeceased by his beloved grandson, Nicolas Maggio; his parents, Emanuel and Jenny Miceli; and all of his siblings. As the youngest of seven children, Frank was the last surviving member of his generation in the Miceli family.
Frank leaves behind a legacy of love, service, devotion, and family values. His life was defined by his commitment to those he loved, his pride in his country, and the example he set through hard work and integrity. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in the hearts of his family and friends.
