Frank Keena, age 91 passed away peacefully on March 30, 2024. Frank was born in Orange, New Jersey to John and Dorothy Keena along with his siblings John and Eileen. Frank proudly served his country in the United States Air Force stationed in Alaska. On May 1, 1954 Frank married his high school sweetheart Marilyn Post and together they raised their two children Brian and Kelly. After battling and defeating colon cancer Frank moved the family to Florida in 1971 where he began his very successful career in real estate. He later met and worked along side his beloved wife Maureen until they retired to Port Orange . After Maureen's passing in 2018 Frank moved to the Tampa/ Wesley Chapel area to live with family. Frank thrived attending daily mass at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, dining at the Wolf's den or Brunchies, and walking 5 miles a day. He always had an encouraging word and handed out Jesus coins to anyone he thought needed love and support. Due to illness Frank lived his final years at Blue Heron senior living where he was treated like family. He is survived by his son Brian Keena ( Karen), daughter
Kelly Keena Austin, sister Eileen Ryan, stepchildren Arlene, Michelle, William, James. Grandchildren Tyler Keena, Brianna Keena, Steven Austin, Michael Austin.
The family would like to thank the staff at Blue Heron and Gulfside hospice for their demonstrated care and compassion.
As Frank was a devout Catholic there will be a funeral mass at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church
