Francis D'Amico's Obituary
Francis Xavier D’Amico, son of Salvatore and Pauline D’Amico passed away
peacefully on December 8, 2022 at the Marliere Hospice House in New Port, Richey, FL.
He was born on March 9, 1935 in Brooklyn, NY and is predeceased by his daughter,
Dorie Markwalder and survived by his sister, Geraldine Keller, brother, Dr. Robert D’Amico,
his wife of 37 years, Patricia, sons, Kevin D’Amico, Brian D’Amico, Todd Johnson,
daughter Denice Sell, 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and his pet dog, Mimi.
Frank was a graduate of Public School 197 and James Madison High School in
Brooklyn, NY. He graduated from St. John’s School of Pharmacy in Queens, NY in 1957.
Upon graduation he entered the U.S. Army and served as a medic in Germany for 2 years.
He served as a pharmacist for over 50 years first in Brooklyn and then in Florida from
1971 to 2007.
Frank was an avid chef and enjoyed cooking for family and friends. His specialties
were eggplant parmesan and lasagna.
Frank is being cremated and memorial services will be held on January 7, 2023 at 11AM
at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 12609 Memorial Drive, Trinity, FL 34655
