Florinda B. Perales' Obituary
Florinda Baldevia Perales, 75, of Lutz, FL went to be with the Lord on December 31st, 2020.
She was born on February 20, 1945 at Iloilo City, Philippines. Florinda was loving and generous to her family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband Jesus I. Perales, their seven children, and their spouses/partners: Jess and Christy, Angelica and Richard McCluskey, Ray and Judith, Michael, Christina and Charles, Lourdes and Nathan, Violeta and Araum.
She is also survived by her grandchildren Kelly, Elizabeth, Matthew, Salara, Samuel, Brandon, and Tony. She is preceded in death by her mother Florencia T. Baldevia. She is survived by her father Antonio Baldevia and siblings Flordeliza Montinola, Amelita Engada, Charito Baldevia, Nestor Baldevia, Gladys Baldevia, Mary Ann Baldevia, and Jerson Baldevia as well as, her in-laws, many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends that she considers family.
She was known for joining beauty pageants in her town and won many crowns.
Florinda graduated from Iloilo Provincial High School and attended Cabalum Commercial College in Iloilo City, Philippines. She completed a Secretarial program and worked in a law firm where she met her husband Jesus Perales. Together they had seven beautiful children.
Florinda had a strong faith in God and was very religious just like her mother.
The Perales family eventually moved to Agana Heights, Guam in 1982 where they lived for 8 years.
In the Summer of 1990, the Perales family moved to Lutz, Florida and currently resides there. She worked hard as a Customer Service Representative for 25 years so her family could have a great future. Due to her love for God, she never missed a Sunday mass at Our Lady of the Rosary. Florinda lived God's word every day and instilled the love for God to her children.
There was a private service held at Our Lady of the Rosary church at Land O' Lakes, FL on Friday January 8, 2021. She was laid to rest in a mausoleum at Trinity Memorial Garden in Trinity, FL.
