Evelyn Kennedy Lynch
Evelyn Kennedy Lynch, born in Manhattan, NY in 1932 to James and Julia Kennedy, passed away
peacefully at the age of 92. She grew up in Queens, NY, where she met and married the love of her life, Joseph Lynch, in 1956.
A devoted mother to her son, Joseph Lynch (Lidia Lynch), Evelyn was a cherished grandmother to
Samantha Frener (Gil Frener), Joseph Lynch (Kristina Lynch), and Jessica Mehleisen (Christopher
Mehleisen). She was also a proud great-grandmother to Victor Vann, James Vann, Sofia Lauricella, Leila Lauricella, and Killian Lynch.
A proud graduate of Stella Maris High School in Queens, NY, Evelyn later earned her master's degree in education from SUNY Stonybrook, NY. She dedicated 20 years of her life to educating young minds as an exceptional elementary school teacher in Kings Park, NY.
Evelyn and Joseph shared a passion for sailing, spending many years cruising the Northeast United States on their beloved boat, The Fairwind. Upon retirement, they relocated to Trinity, FL, where they enjoyed a fulfilling life filled with friendships, bridge games, Disney World adventures, Florida explorations, and international travel.
A devout Catholic, Evelyn was a longtime member of Christ the King Church in Commack, NY, and later St. Ignatius of Antioch Church in Tarpon Springs, FL.
Evelyn will be forever remembered as a loving matriarch, a caring and doting mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She lived a long and beautiful life and will now be laid to rest beside her beloved husband. She will be deeply missed by many.
