Eugene Magnuszewski's Obituary
Eugene Magnuszewski, 84, joined our heavenly Father on April 9th, 2021. Eugene came from a very humble beginning in Krynice, Poland. He was one of nine surviving children and the last to be reunited with his family in heaven. Eugene was very driven to accomplish more than most expected of a poor farmer boy. He put himself through masonry schooling and became a Master of Masonry, working on many very important historic buildings in Poland and in the United States. At the age of 34, he said goodbye to his wife and children to pursue the American dream. It took six years, but he happily reunited with his children. Eugene was also a wonderful host. When you entered his home, you would be welcomed by fresh flowers from his garden. He loved working in his garden and proudly grew his own fruit, vegetables, and herbs. He built a smoker and would make delicious smoked meats and sausage. Along with the love of entertaining and having company, he would always provide his homemade liquor (Nalewka) to toast with once, twice…three times…or until the bottle was empty. He was a man that could do almost anything and do it with exceptional skill. Eugene loved his family and did the best he knew how for them. They are very grateful for the opportunity they have been given and the wonderful lives they have been able to create for themselves and their children.
Eugene was loved by his family, friends and wonderful neighbors that called him family. He will be very much missed by all. One day we will be reunited. His memory will be cherished by his children: Alicja Magnuszewska-Michaud, Slawomir Magnuszewski, Miroslaw Magnuszewski, Dariusz Magnuszewski; grandchildren: Kasia Leola Lynch, Aleksy Gerard Michaud; great-grandchildren: Adelyn Gloria Lynch, Elsie Aniela Lynch, Connor Wade Michaud, and Olivia Grace Michaud.
