Ethel Urquhart, 89, of New Port Richey, formerly of Carle Place, NY on September 25th, at home, surrounded by her family. Ethel was born in Scotland and was one of 6 children. She emigrated to the U.S. following her marriage. Eth Read Obituary
This is probably one of the last photographs taken of Ethel and her sisters, Madge, Kathleen and Gladys. Such a happy time they all had at a family wedding in Aberdeen, such wonderful memories created. Ethel's sparkle and joy will be sadly missed by her family here in Scotland and Australia. Rest in peace.
I'm heartbroken to hear of Ethel's passing. I met Ethel (who was like Grandma to me), helping Mike Pavlak move some furniture from her condo complex and I instantly fell in love with her. She was such a sweet, funny lady and her ability to make the world's best cookies didn't hurt either. Over the years, seeing her at various family events and holidays was always a great pleasure. I'm going to miss seeing her smiling face, getting get a big hug & kiss, and catching up with how she was doing. Oh and I'm really going to miss her cooking!

Ethel was always so nice to me. Her cookies were the best. One day I tried to make her meringue cookies. We had a great laugh, mine were flat like pancakes. Ethels were perfect. Great laugh. She will be missed.
