Elise R. Hanna's Obituary
ELISE ROBYN BESTERMAN HANNA passed away on September 17, 2023.
She was from Spring Valley, New York. Her parents were Gerald and Sylvia Besterman. Elise later moved to Tampa, FL with her mother and sister, as well as her loving step-father Bruno Tripodi. She graduated from George D. Chamberlain High School in Tampa, Florida in 1983.
She earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the University of South Florida.
Elise was a High School guidance Counselor in Pasco County Schools from 1988 until 2003. She was loved by students and colleagues because of her warm personality and caring demeanor. After her years of teaching, she tutored students privately. She enjoyed working in jewelry design as a hobby.
She most recently relocated to Houston, TX to move closer to her eldest son, Jordan, to get ahead of her health.
Elise lived in an assisted living facility where she was loved by her peers and staff alike. She brought so much light to everyone’s lives and was adored by many.
She is survived by her sons Jordan and Nickolas, her son-in-law Raúl, their father Richard Hanna and her sister, Marne Besterman.
She will be buried at Trinity Memorial Gardens on Thursday, September 28 2023, with the service beginning at 1:00pm and burial at 3:00pm.
