Eileen Flood Ferdinand, of the Villages, Florida, passed away at home surrounded by family and friends at the age of 74.
Eileen was born in Jersey City, New Jersey to John and Grace Flood. She grew up in a loving home in Cresskill, New Jersey with her mother and father. She was a happy child and always pleasant to be around. She was a loving wife to her husband for over 50 years. She was a beloved mother and grandmother as well.
She graduated from Eckerd College with a bachelor's degree. She and her husband owned multiple businesses. Eileen was in the 1988 Mrs. Florida beauty pageant. She became the first female Mayor of the City of Port Richey. She was the assistant Tax Collector for Pasco County and retired from the Clerk of the Circuit Courts office.
She was known for her infectious smile and her kind heart. She belonged to many organizations and groups and made many wonderful friends. Eileen was also known for her professionalism. She was always structured and organized.
Eileen was preceded in death by her husband and survived by her sons and grandson.
A visitation will be held on January 15th, 2025, from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Trinity Memorial Funeral Home. 12609 Memorial Dr, Trinity, Fl, 34655 (727 376-7824. Followed by a funeral service on January 16th, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM will be held at Our Lady Queen of Peace, 5340 High St, New Port Richey, Fl, 34652. (727) 849-7521
