Deb and I met in, I believe, 1992. The boys, Jacob and Jordan, were toddlers. Her family was her life. So naturally, if you are friends with sweet Debbie, you know her family, too. And when you meet Winnie, you know where that comes from. Winnie was a friend from the moment I met her. If you were invited in, you felt comfortable in her home. You were not a stranger. And, while I might have been a little intimidated once or twice (while helping Winnie and Elena plan Rachel's baby shower💕) - as any girl from Jersey might make you feel!! (I'm originally from Jersey, too), you knew, with Winnie on your side, I always felt myself with Winnie. She was strong, feminine - always beautiful - and had that magnetic smile. Even when it was to express a sentiment of irony or an "Of course!" - yes, don't remember what I said, but definitely got the "aren't you special" look at least once! Haha. Winnie was honest. She was true blue. She could see through fiery eyes and be a friend.
