Dorothy Rocks' Obituary
Dorothy Ann Rocks, born on October 3, 1959, in Lanham, Maryland, to the late Albert Gertz and Thelma Grimm, passed away on June 3, 2024, in New Port Richey, Florida. A cherished wife, aunt, and family member, Dorothy’s indomitable spirit was a beacon of strength and inspiration.
She leaves behind her devoted husband, Stephen, her nephew Terrence, and dear family members Christopher and Dorothy. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jeffrey.
A voracious reader and an excellent cook, Dorothy’s passions in life were a reflection of her zest and tenacity. Despite facing the challenges of a severe stroke, she remained a strong-willed fighter, never allowing obstacles to dampen her resolve. Her perseverance and ability to keep going against all odds will be remembered and admired by all who knew her.
