Donna Marie Imondi Laroche's Obituary
With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Donna Marie Imondi Laroche, who left this world on February 18, 2025, at the age of 57. Donna was a beloved, daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and, friend whose life was a testament to love, faith, and generosity.
Donna had a deep love for family, faith, and life’s simple joys. She found happiness in the small moments—going out to eat (especially for fish and chips!), celebrating holidays, and sharing laughter with those she loved. Her warm spirit and radiant smile were gifts to all who knew her! She was a loving mother to her son, Christopher Laroche, whom she cherished with all her heart!
Donna was also a loving daughter of Richard and Janice Imondi, who raised her in faith and love. As a sister, she was a constant source of joy and companionship, sharing countless cherished moments with her sister, Lisa, while shopping, praying together, pedicures, facials, arts and crafts, swimming, and simply enjoying life together!
Donna’s love extended to her nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, who brought joy into her life with their letters, cards, and visits during the holidays! Donna's presence will be profoundly missed, but her legacy of love, kindness, and faith will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
A talented artist, Donna won first place in an art contest for her colorful sailboat drawing, which was later printed on t-shirts to support future young artists! Her original artwork remains displayed at the marina in Safety Harbor, Florida, and her son Christopher holds both the picture and the t-shirt as cherished keepsakes.
Beyond her artistry, Donna had a love for horses and found great joy in riding and caring for them. She was also deeply grateful for the kindness and support of Tron, Rachel, her teachers, and friends, who provided her with a beautiful home and care for over 20 years!
Donna had a kind and giving heart, evident in her decision to be an organ donor. In her final moments, the hospital honored her with an Honor Walk, as doctors and nurses stood in respect for the life she lived and the lives she would save. Her selflessness was a true reflection of her faith and love for others! In recognition of her generosity, a flag few in her honor for three days at Mease Countryside Hospital in Clearwater, Florida.
We take comfort in knowing that Donna is now at peace, embraced in the everlasting love of her Savior, reunited with loved ones in Heaven. Though we mourn her passing, we also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the love she shared so freely!
