Donald Testa Jr.'s Obituary
Donald Joseph Testa (52), of Tampa, Florida, passed away on June 16, 2026.
Donald, Don, Donnie, Dad, Papau, Uncle Don, Dondi Dondi, was born on April 10, 1974, in Belleville, N.J., to Donald J. Testa and Darlene Testa. He graduated from Plant City High School in 1992, where he participated in the JROTC program. He went on to attend the University of South Florida, graduating in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology. During his time at USF, he was active in the ROTC program.
Following college, Donald served in the United States Air Force, 1997-2004 where he became Captain Donald J. Testa Jr., took great pride in his service and was awarded many decorations, medals, and badges.
Donald was the owner of a thriving construction company in Tampa and was known for his leadership, strong work ethic, and unwavering loyalty and devotion to his family. He was admired for his giving heart, eagerness to help others and his ability to bring happiness to those around him. Donald especially cherished time with his niece and nephews, and was the best at bringing the family together for special occasions and celebrations. Donald was an amazing husband, father, brother, and son.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle Testa; his daughter, Sharianne Sampson; his father, Donald J. Testa; his mother, Darlene M. Gardner; his brother, Mark Testa; and his sister, Gina Monaco.
In his free time, Donald loved playing golf, fishing, and celebrating holidays with his family. His legacy of kindness, generosity, and family unity will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A funeral service will be held in Trinity Memorial Gardens 12609 Memorial Dr. Trinity, FL 34655 Monday June 22, 2026, at 12pm.
