I Lived Across the Street From Don for the Last 5 Years. I Had Many Great Conversations with Him, He was an Interesting Man. We Talked About Each Others Careers and Family and Travel, Sometimes Over a Beer. Whenever You Saw Him He Made it a Point to Talk to You. I'm Gonna Miss Him. My husband and I met Don and Pat Kelman on the deck outside during Happy Hour when we first moved into Heritage Springs. They were very friendly and greeted us warmly. We discovered that they were from Sterling Hts., Michigan and we were from Troy, Michigan a neighboring city. Thus a friendship began. They always joined in for Michigan Club outings. Don was an avid Detroit Red Wing fan and accompanied us to games when they were in town. He will be missed for his friendly smile and slow easy going ways. RIP. Our prayers to his family and to dear Carol.

I have to say that during the most difficult time of my life when my Father past away (I was around 11 years old) Mr. And Mrs. Kelman will forever have a special place in my heart for the way they treated me..They truly were like another Mom and Dad.. Always giving my Mom a break by letting me stay with them what seemed like morning, day and night... Beautiful people is an understatement...The world needs more people like Mr. and Mrs. Kelman...you will be missed..Thank you for what you did for me..RIP
