Diane Maddox's Obituary
Diane Maddox, 75, of Lutz, FL, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025. She was born on April 30, 1950, and lived a life full of love, dedication, and grace.
Diane shared 57 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Junior Maddox. Together, they built a beautiful family and created countless cherished memories. She was preceded in death by her oldest son, Michael.
She is survived by her youngest son Eric and daughter-in-law Kristin; her grandchildren Chasity and her husband Jeremy, Lacy and her husband Jamie, Brenden and his fiancée Sydney, Connor and his girlfriend Alanah; and her great-grandchildren Chloe, Skyler, Riley, and Peyton. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters—Margaret, Dan, Glen, Anita, and Gina—as well as her dog, Cooper, who was always by her side.
For 35 years, Diane dedicated her career to the Hillsborough County Property Appraiser’s Office as Tangible Manager, where she was admired for her hard work, leadership, and kindness. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Diane’s greatest passion was her family. She loved spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, always ensuring that family came first.
Diane will be remembered for her strength, knowledge, and ability to bring people together. Her legacy lives on through the love she gave and the lives she touched.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Trinity Memorial Gardens on October 10, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate the life of a remarkable wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.
