Diane Bivona's Obituary
Diana Lynn “Diane” Bivona passed away peacefully at her home in Wesley Chapel, Florida on October 6th, 2020 at the age of 63.
Diane is survived by her mother, Carolyn “Carol” Tripodi; her husband of 43-years, Carl Bivona; her three children, Dina Bivona, Maria Dunker, and Carl Bivona; and her granddaughter, Nicolette Bivona. She is also survived by immediate family members: Philip, Michele, Carol, Anthony, Robert, Valerie, Michael, Jim, and Judy - as well as numerous nieces and nephews,
whom she loved and cared for deeply. Diane was born on October 5, 1957, in Brooklyn, New York to Carolyn and Philip Tripodi. She married Carl Bivona on May 29, 1977. The couple welcomed their first child, Dina Marie while still living in Brooklyn. After moving to Staten Island, they were fortunate to bring two more children into this world, Maria Grace & Carl Joseph.
Diane’s children remember her as a loving and caring mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals and always reach for the stars. Diane was also known to be very generous and exceptionally quick-witted. She often enjoyed cooking and was passionate about caring for others.
A funeral is scheduled at Trinity Memorial Gardens for Saturday, October 10, 2020 with a viewing from 10 am - 12 pm and services to immediately follow - all are welcome to attend and celebrate Diane’s life.
