Delberta L. Arnold,
81, from Odessa FL was surrounded by family as she went to the Lord on January 15 2017. She was born September 23, 1935, in Springfield Township, PA to Delbert Lewis and Hazel Wilcox Lewis. She grew up in Big Pond PA and went to Troy High School graduated in 1953. She meet and married her husband, Claron G. Arnold, on September 4, 1954, they were married for 60 years before his passing in 2015. Del was loved by all who met her. Her sense of humor would brighten your day. They raised three children, Rexford C. Arnold, of Crystal River, FL, Sarah Burhans, of Citrus Park, FL, and Sandra Popejoy, of Tampa, FL. She is survived by her sister Glenora Harkcom, of Albuquerque, NM, Brother Ronald Lewis, of Big Pond PA and half-sister Judy Kirch of Dexter, NY. Preceded In death by her two sisters Pauline Vargson, of Thonotosassa, FL and Geraldine Terrell of Troy, PA and half sister Annie Thomas. She had several grandchildren, Nena Arnold, Joshua Burhans, Brandy Roesel, Benjamen, Nathan and Haley Popejoy, Cheyenne and Bryan Lentz. Her funeral will be held at Trinity Memorial Gardens on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Her inurnment will immediately follow. The family is thankful for all the prayers and support given in this difficult time and ask that any donations be made in Del’s honor to the Keystone United Methodist Church in Odessa, FL.
