Deborah Durrett's Obituary
Deborah Durrett, 51, of New Port Richey, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on September 5, 2024, after a courageous battle with brain cancer. She was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida, on January 26, 1973, to Anthony and Nancy Herbert. She married her husband Stephen in 1993 and the couple relocated to Gainesville, Florida for Stephen to attend dental school. It was there that their first daughter, Danielle, was born. After Stephen finished school, they briefly returned to St. Petersburg, where their second daughter, Callista, was born. In 1999, the family moved to New Port Richey. Deborah worked as the office manager for her sister-in-law Shari’s orthodontic practice for 15 years.
Deborah was a caring and devoted wife and mother, supporting her daughters in their schooling and sports. She was known for her genuine and caring friendships. She enjoyed going to the beach, boating, and kayaking with her family, and working out at Orange Theory Fitness. She loved taking vacations on cruises with Stephen and their girls and enjoying good food with friends and family.
Deborah is survived by her husband of 31 years, Stephen, and their daughters, Danielle and Callista. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Williams.
